These are Superfood Smoothies recipes, make them your own. Change/omit whatever you wish to make it better for you. Generally avoiding sugar is one of the rules I follow, therefore dates and Lucuma powder and stevia are what I use for sweetening.
Storing Superfood Smoothies. What you going to do? Just made a 32oz smoothie, sure not going to drink all that at one sitting, are you? Not being one to recommend storing, you can store in fridge. You will lose flavor, if you leave over night, surely.
The ones with almond/peanut butter will separate. I generally store mine in blender cups with lids secured, shake very well or run on blender quickly before consuming.
What I’m trying to say is….. JUST ENJOY… have a ball with these.
If any smoothie should “freeze up”, by witch I mean, becomes frozen to the point the ingredients will not blend. Adding a little more of the fluid usually solves the problem, if not, get a spoon!

These recipes are no doubt, a great delight. I’ve always loved superfoods and having them in the form of smoothies are really wonderful. This totally simplify the process of making them as I used to believe that they were really complex of required one or two mystery ingredients. The coconut goji appears to be one I’d very much like to try. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for stopping by and reading. Glad you enjoyed the article. Getting your daily dose of superfoods with smoothies is the easy way. The Coconut Goji is one of my personal favorites.
Hello Cowboy James. Thanks for all of the amazing recipes – the Strawberry sure has a lot of healthy ingredients! I have a smoothie just about every morning but after reading this information, I may have to rethink what ingredients I use. The Sundae definitely caught my eye so I will be giving that one a try.
I did not realize Ayurvedic Superfood existed or what it is.. I think any product that heals our mind, body, and soul is a good product. Thanks for sharing!
Online Store/Ayurvedic Thank you for commenting. The Ayurvedic superfoods and herbs have been around for about 3000 years. Only recently learning of them myself. I find they are helping me in many ways. There are a lot of products available.
Hello Cowboy James,
I am/was a type 2 diabetic and understand the obesity problem as I have lost close to 50 lbs eating natural whole unprocessed foods. You have some very interesting smoothie combinations using the superfoods, and they all look like they could benefit anyone. Type 2 diabetes is a blood sugar and insulin resistance problem, I like your ideas and recipes but I would limit myself especially the fruits to possibly even low carbohydrate vegetable substitutes.
You have quite a few recipes and have given me some ideas on putting together variations of your smoothies.
Thanks for the info.
Jimmy.
. That’s the great thing about smoothies, you can always change things around. As was said, “It’s not rocket science, it’s a smoothie”. Thanks you for commenting.
